Meet Our Principals

Principal Ty Whitmire brings 16 years of experience in education, with a proven track record of supporting student achievement and fostering positive school culture. He most recently served as an Assistant Principal at West Mesquite High School, where he played a key role in campus operations, student support systems, and instructional leadership.

Throughout his career, Principal Whitmire has demonstrated a strong commitment to building relationships with students, staff, and families, while promoting high expectations and continuous improvement. His leadership approach emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and creating a learning environment where all students can succeed.

He earned his bachelor’s degree from Prairie View A&M University and later obtained his master’s degree from Lamar University, further strengthening his foundation in educational leadership.

As a principal, Mr. Whitmire is dedicated to empowering educators, supporting student growth, and ensuring that every student is prepared for success in college, career, and life.

Ms. Beltran began her career as an educator teaching 8th-grade science at Meadowbrook Middle School, where she served for 15 years. During her tenure, she demonstrated strong leadership by serving as a Team Leader, Science Department Chair, and Lead Content Teacher. She also contributed as a district model classroom teacher and completed an Assistant Principal Internship.

In 2008, Ms. Beltran earned her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at Arlington and transitioned into campus administration. She has since supported several campuses, including Wedgwood Middle School, WJMS, Riverside Middle School, and currently serves at Rosemont Middle School.

With over 30 years of experience in education, Ms. Beltran is committed to fostering a structured, engaging learning environment that inspires academic excellence and a lifelong love of learning in all students.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Ms. Beltran enjoys photography, fishing, and spending quality time with her children and grandchildren. She is enthusiastic about the upcoming school year and remains dedicated to making a positive impact within her school community.

Dr. Marquisha Boston brings over 17 years of experience in education and a deep commitment to instructional excellence. Before joining Rosemont Middle School, she served as an Instructional Specialist at West Mesquite High School in Mesquite ISD, where she helped teachers refine their craft and elevate student achievement.

At Rosemont, Dr. Boston steps into the role of Assistant Principal with a proven ability to strengthen teaching practices, foster professional growth, and drive meaningful academic outcomes across campus and district levels.

Her leadership style is grounded in collaboration, consistency, and connection. She believes that strong relationships—with students, staff, and families—are the foundation of a thriving school community. Through clear communication and shared expectations, she works to create an environment where every student feels supported, capable, and inspired to succeed.

Dr. Boston’s career spans roles as District Assistant Director of Learning Supports, Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, Curriculum Specialist, and High School Science Teacher. These experiences have shaped her understanding of instructional systems, student supports, and equitable access to high‑quality learning opportunities.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Grambling State University, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Tech University.

As Assistant Principal, Dr. Boston is dedicated to empowering teachers, nurturing student growth, and helping Rosemont Middle School shine as a flagship campus within FWISD—where excellence isn’t just a goal, it’s the Bronco standard.
