Valerie Barron
Executive Principal
Mrs. Barron was born and raised in Fort Worth. She attended North Side HS, the University of Texas at Austin, and the University of Texas at Arlington. Mrs. Barron has worked with students in elementary, middle school, high school, and
alternative school settings. Outside of school, Mrs. Barron spends time with her husband, two elementary-aged kids, and
dog, Chopper. She loves to run, bike, and spend time with the family at the park, doing Legos, or doing art projects.

April G. Beltran
8th Grade Assistant Principal
April G. Beltran, a product of Fort Worth ISD, graduated from the Medical Magnet Program at Northside HS.
She received her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Wesleyan University, where she specialized in Science and Education.
Ms. Beltran taught 8th grade Science at Meadowbrook Middle School for 15 years; throughout her years there,
she served as a Team Leader, Science Department Chair, Science Lead Content Teacher, a district model classroom and
an Assistant Principal Intern. In 2008, she obtained her master’s degree in Leadership from The University of Texas
at Arlington, and began her path as an administrator. She supported several campuses: Wedgwood MS, WJMS,
Riverside MS, and now, Rosemont Middle School. With over 29 years of experience in education, she instills
structure, inspires a love for learning, and aims high for all of her students. In her free time, she enjoys photography,
fishing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ms. Beltran is looking forward to an amazing year!

Jordan Rodriguez
7th grade Assistant Principal
A Rio Grande Valley native and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Mrs. Rodriguez has dedicated her educational career to working with students from diverse backgrounds. After teaching in her hometown for a few
years, she moved to Fort Worth and taught math in different grade levels at Meacham Middle School. She received her
Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas. She is dedicated to ensuring all students
receive quality education and have all their emotional needs met. She is happy to join the Rosemont family and support
all that has been built.
